The Iraq Museum

المتحف العراقي

Across the agesBaghdad

Founded in 1926, it holds one of the world’s richest collections of Mesopotamian antiquities, including the Warka Vase, the Nimrud treasures and winged bulls.

It was looted in 2003; many pieces have since been recovered, and it has reopened to the public.
